Dr. Cressida J. Heyes 
Dr. Cressida J. Heyes is Canada Research Chair in Philosophy of Gender and Sexuality and Professor of Philosophy, Adjunct Professor of Political Science and Affiliated Faculty in the Women's Studies Program.  She writes and teaches in feminist theory and contemporary social and political thought, with a particular emphasis on the politics of embodiment.  She is the author of Self-Transformations:  Foucault, Ethics and Normalized Bodies (Oxford University Press 2007) and Line Drawing:  Defining Women through Feminist Practice(Cornell University Press, 2000); the editor of Critical Concepts:  Gender and Philosophy (Routledge, 2011) and The Grammar of Politics:  Wittgenstein and Political Philosophy (Cornell University Press, 2003); and co-editor with Meredith Jones of Cosmetic Surgery:  A Feminist Primer (Ashgate, 2009).  More information about her research, publications, and teaching can be found at http://cressidaheyes.com.

Dr. Jared Wesley

Jared Wesley is adjunct professor of Political Science at the University of Albrta, adjunct professor of Political Studies at the University of Manitoba, and Associate Director of Social Policy in Alberta Intergovernmental, International and Aboriginal Relations.  His research interests include Canadian federalism and provincial politics, with a focus on party politics and elections.  He is principal investigator of the SSHRC-funded "Comparative Provincial Elections Project", which studies the five provincial campaigns slated for Fall 2011.  In addition to his new book, Code Politics: Campaigns and Cultures on the Canadian Prairies (UBC Press, 2011), he has published in the Canadian Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Canadian Studies, Prairie Forum, and several recent books.
